To reinforce our team of consultants for our Swiss-german clients, we are hiring a
ServiceNow Engineer - Zurich

required key skills
  • Validated completion of ServiceNow and/or other ITSM tools courses
  • Min 5 years of experience in IT as a developer, 2 years in ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow Fundamentals, Discovery Fundamentals and Service Mapping Fundamentals
  • Good understanding of ITSM process and ITIL best practices
  • Experience working with Agile Project Teams
  • German and English
your role

  • Understand business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation
  • Analyze system processes and develop enhancements to improve user experience and general system usability
  • Develop scripts on the ServiceNow platform to automate tasks and integrations
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders, clearly understand their needs and communicate the team’s roadmap
  • Advanced problem solving and deal with a variety of options in complex situations
  • Draw upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact
  • Develop design documentation for an enterprise deployment
  • Develop systems integrations and process automation
  • Perform installation and testing of ServiceNow updates and new releases
your knowledge

  • Higher education in computer science
  • Min 3 years of experience in IT as developer, 2 in ServiceNow with a focus on software / system engineering
  • Experience in the fields of systems engineering or software development, knowledge of one or more programming and scripting languages (e.g., Golang, Java, C #, Bash)
  • Focus on Postgres SQL and Kubernetes Foundry and/or OpenShift as well Kafka, MinIO, KeyCloak, Prometeus, Grafana, automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) and Linux knowledge
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies, software development and cloud, independent and efficient way of working, good integration in a self-organized, agile team, proactive contribution of expertise, ideas, and flexibility.
